TAFE International Western Australia (TIWA) is the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) provider, for the delivery of training to international students, enrolled in a TAFE course in Western Australia. This nationally recognised course is delivered by a Western Australian TAFE college on TIWA's behalf. TIWA retains responsibility for the quality of the training and assessment delivered by the TAFE colleges and for the issue of certification documentation to students.

Start your pathway to an exciting career in civil construction and urban planning. During this course you will develop skills to work autonomously to plan and determine the selection of equipment, roles and techniques for site specific work designs to meet client’s site requirements and demonstrate the application of a broad range of technical, managerial, coordination and planning skills.
Learn how to schedule and estimate construction tasks, calculate foundation and footing requirements, and manage a project schedule. In addition you will learn about structural requirements, local building and construction standards, codes and practices and structural mechanics. You will create detail drafting, technical specifications, schedules, and bill of quantities for a building project.

An IELTS score (academic) of 5.5 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.
Equivalent to Australian Year 12 with a pass in Year 11 Maths is required for entry into this course.
OR Completion of MEM30505 Certificate III in Engineering - Technical is required for entry into this course.
