Learning software development was very challenging for me because I had not studied it before in my home country, but it turned out that it was easy to follow even though I was new to the course. I really liked studying it because my lecturer was friendly and very easy to communicate with.

Before coming to Australia, I completed an advanced diploma in digital animation, and wanted to further my studies to get into the digital market workforce with ease. I didn’t want to go to university, but rather study in a more practical environment, being assessed on real workplace skills needed in the industry. Imagine my luck when I found TAFE. The staff and students are friendly, and willing to assist me when I ask them.

At the start of my studies, I had no idea what TAFE was all about. Today I can proudly say, that one of the best decisions I have ever made is to study here. The “learn through practice” approach is a plus for students. We get a real concept of how the industry works. My course provides me with all the essential skills the workforce requires. I personally feel TAFE is key to a successful career in Australia.
