TAFE International Western Australia (TIWA) is the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) provider, for the delivery of training to international students, enrolled in a TAFE course in Western Australia. This nationally recognised course is delivered by a Western Australian TAFE college on TIWA's behalf. TIWA retains responsibility for the quality of the training and assessment delivered by the TAFE colleges and for the issue of certification documentation to students.

Elevate your career in process plant technology and manufacturing through studying this qualification. This course extends the expertise gained at the diploma level and will further enhance your career prospects.
During your studies, you will learn about how to analyse plant performance, equipment and product failures, solve complex problems and manage risk and safety. You will also improve your ability to communicate with various stakeholders and manage processing teams. This course will broaden your existing skills and knowledge so that you can assist in the development of new products and contribute to plant modifications.
On completion of this course, you may be eligible for Associate Membership to Engineers Australia. You may also be eligible for advanced standing into relevant courses at university level.
Students are required to undertake approximately 1 hour per week of supervised work placement during this course. This placement is undertaken on campus in a simulated work environment. The ACEPT distillation process plant offers an opportunity to learn in a simulated real-life industry environment as it includes a control room, distillation tower and digital resources relevant to the process plant and oil and gas industries.
