I chose to study at TAFE because most classes are practical, so that you learn by doing. I also love to study with people from all over the world. I love living in Perth. The quality of life here is very good. Everything I love I have here, including beaches, parks, cinemas and events. International students make a difference at TAFE.

Student Norita at Perth TAFE campus lobby

I researched a few universities and training providers in WA and found that TAFE offers a very unique mode of learning delivery. The work simulations are a great way to allow students to learn and gain relevant skills to apply in the real workplace. The lectures are really helpful and patient students. They are willing to listen to our questions and explain well the answers.

I made connections with local Australian students and my English proficiency improved significantly during my TAFE course. The teachers were nice and friendly, the courses were industry-related and practical.  TAFE helped to prepare me for university.  After completing my TAFE UniPathway course and transitioning to university I felt better prepared than some of my university classmates.
