Applying for a TAFE to University package

To apply for a university package you must appoint an Education Agent that has an agency agreement with both TAFE International Western Australia and your preferred university. View a list of Education Agents in your country

Please see the table below for a summary of the application requirements.

  • Step One: Select your TAFE course and relevant university pathway.
  • Step Two:​ Download the required documents and complete all the required details. Have electronic copies of these documents ready to upload with your TAFE application in Step Three.
  • Step Three: Together with your agent, submit your TAFE to University Package Application online.

All packaging fees for ECU, Murdoch and UWA must be paid to TIWA together with payment for your TAFE course and OSHC. Packaging fees for Curtin are paid direct to Curtin University. TIWA will provide more information on this at the offer letter stage.​​

TIWA requires:
  1. TIWA Application Form;
  2. Copy of passport details page;
  3. Academics; and
  4. IELTS.
TIWA requires:
  1. Signed Acceptance Letter; and
  2. Payment as requested in the Schedule of Fees​.

Curtin requires:
  1. Curtin International Student Application form​;

  2. Applicants from Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mongolia and Africa (with the exclusion of Mauritius)* are required to complete the Curtin Genuine Student Assessment Form; and​​

  3. $100 application fee paid direct to Curtin via Curtin's online payment system (Please note: Upon payment via ​Curtin's online payment system, the student must send a copy of the receipt to TIWA).

* Please note that this list of countries are not limited to and subject to change at the time of application. Curtin University may require applicant to complete GSAF form even if their countries are not listed above.
Curtin requires:
  1. Completed and signed Acceptance of Offer Form;

  2. Financial evidence for student visa requirements (for applicants from Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mongolia and Africa [with the exclusion of Mauritius] only) - please refer to Home Affairs Genuine access to funds page for more information on evidence required; and

  3. $1,000 tuition deposit fee paid direct to Curtin via Curtin's online payment system (Please note: upon payment via Curtin's online payment system​, the student must ​send a copy of t​he receipt to TIWA).

TIWA + Edith Cowan University (ECU)

The TAFE to ECU package pathway timeline is for the maximum period of 18 months study at TAFE. This includes any period of English prior to the mainstream TAFE course.

 

 



TIWA requires:
  1. TIWA Application Form;
  2. Copy of passport details page;
  3. Academics; and
  4. IELTS.
TIWA requires:
  1. Signed Acceptance Letter; and
  2. Payment as requested in the
    S​​chedule of Fees​.

ECU requires:
  1. ECU International Student Application form - please note that TIWA is currently unable to request ECU packages for offshore students from the following countries: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria and Vietnam.
    These countries will be reviewed annually.

    The following additional documents are required for applicants from countries needing additional financial & English evidence, as per the Department of Home Affairs Document Checklist Tool for ECU:

  2. ECU Genuine Temporary Entrance (GTE) Assessment Checklist;

  3. Resumes for you (and if applicable, your spouse);

  4. Decisions records for any previous visa refusals (for you and your immediate family);

  5. Documents to be submitted with your visa application to satisfy evidence of financial capacity as required by Department of Home Affairs; and

  6. ECU Student Financial Declaration (required for students from Nepal only).

ECU requires:

  1. Please follow the steps in your offer letter to accept the ECU offer online at https://www.ecu.edu.au/my-uni-start/overview.

  2. $2,000 tuition deposit ​fee - paid to TIWA.

Please note: ECU does not commence the Genuine Temporary Entrance assessment phase until the offer has been accepted.

TIWA + Murdoch University

 


TIWA requires:
  1. TIWA Application Form;
  2. Copy of passport details page;
  3. Academics; and
  4. IELTS​.
TIWA requires:
  1. Signed Acceptance Letter; and
  2. Payment as requested in the Schedule of Fees​.

Murdoch requires:
  1. Murdoch University International Student Application Form;

  2. Statement of Purpose; and

  3. Genuine Student Evaluation Form is required for students from Iran, Vietnam, Subcontinent (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, India, Pakistan) and Africa (with the exception of South Africa and Mauritius) and all Department of Home Affairs, Country Assessment Level 3 applicants.

Murdoch requires:
  1. $1,000 to $5,000 tuition deposit ​fee (amount will be confirmed at time of offer) - paid to TIWA;

  2. Murdoch University Packaged Offer Contract; and

  3. Financial documents will be required for applicants that submit a Genuine Student Evaluation Form - please read the explanatory information before completing the Demonstration of Financial Capacity Declaration form.

TIMELINES FOR APPLICATION PROCESSING

Incomplete or incorrect documents will mean applications will be delayed, please ensure all documents and payments are correct before submitting to TIWA. 

Please note that the TAFE offer letter will not be issued until the University offer is received. Once we have received the University offer we will send all of the offer documentation together.

​Accepting packages

Once the signed acceptance letters have been received and payment has been receipted by TIWA, you should receive the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) within seven working days.

Please be aware that there are cut-off dates for applications and for finalising the acceptance.

If you do not submit the application and accept the offer before the relevant cut-off dates, the offer will be deferred to the next available semester.
