About this course
This course will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.
This new course has combined the Certificate III in Aged Care and the Certificate III in Disability and focuses on the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.
This qualification has seven core units and six elective units. Follow this link to view an outline of this qualification.
Please note that you must complete all of the core units listed on the qualification outline, however the elective units you study may differ between TAFE colleges. You will be provided with a course outline at orientation which identifies the elective units you will be enrolled into at your TAFE college.
An IELTS score (academic) of 5.5 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent is required.
For Diploma of Nursing students only - An IELTS score (Academic) of 6.0 with no band score less than 6.0 or equivalent is required.
Equivalent to Australian Year 10 is required for entry into this course
