About this course

This course provides you with the skills and academic requirements you need to continue into the Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2) by introducing study management, nursing terminology, work practices, human biology and health science.

You will improve your maths and communication skills and learn about physics, chemistry, microbiology and human biology. Please note that this course has an entry requirement of Australian Yr 11 with passes in Science and Maths + IELTS Score of 6.0 with no bands lower than 6.0.

Additional information

A certified police clearance from your home country is required. This must be presented to your college at Orientation.

You will not be able to complete the work placement of this course without this police clearance. If you attend North Metropolitan TAFE (formerly West Coast Institute) some classes may be offered at the McLarty Campus. This campus is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the main Joondalup campus. Students can access the free CAT bus that circulates in the Joondalup CBD.
