TAFE International Western Australia (TIWA) is the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) provider, for the delivery of training to international students, enrolled in a TAFE course in Western Australia. This nationally recognised course is delivered by a Western Australian TAFE college on TIWA's behalf. TIWA retains responsibility for the quality of the training and assessment delivered by the TAFE colleges and for the issue of certification documentation to students.

This course is 100% practical and during your studies you will develop creative abilities in concept art and visual development, cinematography, 2D and 3D character animation and short film production using the latest software and equipment such as Autodesk Maya, Toon Boom Harmony, Pixologic Zbrush, Substance Painter and Designer, Black Magic Fusion and Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
You will benefit from strong industry connections and will have the opportunity to showcase your work to any of the largest studios in Perth at an end of year expo. By the end of this course, you will have created a show reel of work and a short animated film of your own which will give you the foundations to be competitive in the global market using the same software and work practices used by top animation, VFX and games studios all over the world.
You can choose to study this course at the diploma level or complete the full pathway to the advanced diploma.
