This entry level course will give you a range of skills in designing and producing digital art, animation and games and will be engage you in real life animation challenges. This course is 100% practical and during your studies you will learn a number of skills including:

  • digital art;
  • 2D animation;
  • game design; and
  • software such as Autodesk Maya, Toon Boom Harmony, Unity and Adobe Photoshop, Premiere pro and After Effects.

The skills and knowledge that you gain from this course will put you on the right track for an exciting and satisfying career in animation or you have the option to continue your studies in the Animation and Game Art pathway of the CUA51015 Diploma of Screen and Media for a further year.

  • An IELTS score (academic) of 5.5 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.

Tuition fees

Resource fees

Resource fees are for consumables used by a student in the course of their study e.g. paint, internet use etc. This fee is paid to your college at enrolment.

If your course goes for two semesters or more, the resource fee may not need to be paid in one amount but may be spaced out over the duration of your courses. Your college will advise you of the payment amount each semester.

Material fees

​The Materials fee includes any item that remains the property of a student after the course has been completed e.g. personal protective equipment, tools, text books etc... This fee is paid to your college at enrolment.
