Rui

I’ve learned much more about the Australian culture and nature and this is what I was looking for, to work in sustainable landscaping.

I chose a new career to come here and start again. Western Australia has the most amazing plants in the world. This made it much easier to study here.

The training course helped me to apply for volunteer jobs and casual jobs while I was studying. Luckily I got a job in a company that builds nature playgrounds for children.

This was the philosophy that I was looking for, helping reconnect kids with nature. I think kids are the future of a more sustainable world, which is what we need now.

I think the practical classes and all the lecturers were amazing. They really helped us to see what the market and industry were asking for, which made an easier pathway to find a job.
