What you need to know once the WA international border reopens

Safe conditions for international travel:

  • No quarantine for double dose vaccinated arrivals
  • Negative PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test required 72 hours before departure
  • Test on arrival (to be phased out, pending a review)
  • All international arrivals are required to have a G2G Pass

How to prepare for your travel to WA:

  • Ensure you are fully vaccinated with a TGA approved vaccine
  • Contact your travel agent and start looking into your travel arrangements to WA
  • Understand your local COVID-19 testing arrangements
  • Understand how to get a G2G Pass

What happens next?

  • TAFE students: apply now and get ready to come to Western Australia to start your studies - TIWA can advise if timeframes permit a Semester 1, 2022 start for your studies.
  • ELICOS and school students: you'll be able to commence at any time after 5 February.
