International students will enjoy the new modern Building Technologies Training Facility that opened on June 4 2014 at
South Metropolitan TAFE in Rockingham, Western Australia.
The Centre is the largest building and training facility in Western Australia.
Courses at the facility focus on sustainability principles including renewable energy, waste management and water management. Students will benefit from state-of-the-art workshops, specialised learning rooms for electrical trades, classrooms and computer-based training rooms.
The building comprises three major components:

- Mortar trades, including plastering, bricklaying, tiling and wall and ceiling lining
- Utilities building that houses plumbing and gas fitting
