South Metropolitan TAFE Orientation

Orientation Details

As a new student, you are required to attend this orientation session. You will be advised of important information relevant to your studies. You will receive your class timetables and be given a tour of the campus. 

Before you attend

Before orientation you must create your Unique Student Identifier (USI). All students enrolled at a TAFE college in Australia need a USI, which links your enrolment details and for easy access to your training records and results whenever you need them.

Orientation date and time

​Tuesday 10 July
08.30am sharp to 4.00pm

Please note that students will proceed to Bentley Campus (a five minute walk from Technology Park) at 12.00pm for enrolments. A light lunch will be provided.

You will also be required to attend a cultural transition workshop for up to two hours within the two days following the orientation. Details will be provided at orientation, it is important to keep these two days available.

Venue

Technology Park Reception Centre, 2 Brodie Hall Drive, Bentley, Function Centre Rooms 1 and 2.

​Please bring these materials
  1. Passport (or copy of passport);
  2. student visa letter or e-visa;
  3. copy of your Letter of Offer received from TAFE International Western Australia;
  4. receipt of payment of your tuition fees;
  5. money to pay your resource fees;
  6. copy of your USI number (see above); and
  7. pen and paper.
